I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve created a new position on Demand Media's Social Solutions senior executive team. Rolling together all monetization work, our VP, Global Revenue covers sales, business development and client services for all domestic and international clients. 

Given the importance of supporting our incredible base of 500+ Pluck customer communities along with our expanding footprint of major global brands, I couldn’t think of a better hire for this position than Stephanie Grossman.

Stephanie has an amazing combination of business development, client relationship and marketing experience. As the Founder and CEO of Sidebar, she built an innovative product for mobile marketing and content discovery and managed customer relationships with amazing brands like Hasbro, Disney and Ford. As the VP, Sales for Scripps Networks Interactive, she ran a team that grew revenue 35% Y-o-Y, nurturing clients like Honda, Visa and Nestle. And at Warner Bros., Stephanie generated over $80MM+ in revenue, signing accounts like Home Depot, Nike and Novartis.

But Stephanie’s work doesn’t end with revenue. A circuit speaker and published commentator, we often find Stephanie sharing with her peers. She has brought her personal warmth and mentorship to organizations like Big Sisters. A dedicated yogini and traveler, her last major trip took her through the temples of India. A UCLA grad and passionate Southern Californian, Stephanie is currently finding her way around our beloved Austin, TX, where she will be embedded with the Social Solutions team. Yes, we’ll make sure she sports her first set of cowboy boots soon and practices her “y’alls.”
