As a publicly and privately funded nonprofit organization serving over 26 million Americans every week in partnership with 860 independently operated public radio stations, NPR produces and distributes more than 130 weekly hours of original programming covering news, public affairs, and culture.

Deployment Details

In 2008, NPR.org deployed a broad collection of SiteLife social media tools across its site. With SiteLife Comments and Personas, users can comment on NPR's editorial content and engage with each other on a host of issues.

In October 2008, NPR was one of the very first Pluck customers to provide SiteLife Groups functionality to its user base. With SiteLife Groups, NPR delivers loyal readers and listeners with advanced social networking applications that spark engagement across the site.
