TheStreet.com Expands Media Offerings with New Pluck SiteLife Services

"Mad Money's" Jim Cramer and Team Enhance Interaction with Social Media Technologies

NEW YORK — February 8, 2006 — At the 2006 Digital Media Summit, Pluck™ Corp., a leader in Web 2.0 technology, announced today that TheStreet.com Inc. (Nasdaq: TSCM), a leading provider of investment commentary, analysis and news, is actively using the Pluck SiteLifeTM social media suite for the managed delivery of columnist and contributor blogs and user-generated content. The new offerings are now available to subscribers of "RealMoney," TheStreet.com's premium website, which is used by self- directed investors and professionals to make better informed investing and trading decisions.

The Pluck SiteLife service, the next generation of Pluck's InSite offering, provides a simple and effective way for online publishers to quickly deliver community publishing capabilities, including reader comments, reviews, ratings, photos and blogs. In the first phase of TheStreet.com's deployment, subscribers to "RealMoney" "Street Insight," and "RealMoney Pro Advisor" can participate in new forms of open content and interaction, including discussing and commenting on blogs by Jim Cramer, TheStreet.com markets commentator and host of CNBC's "Mad Money" and others. In the first week of service, the new capabilities generated thousands of subscriber comments and more than 14 new page views per unique visitor — a testament to how social media capabilities increase the value of online properties by driving more traffic and usage.

"Providing quality content and interactive forums for our customers is an integral part of our rapid growth," said Earl Cokley, chief technology officer of TheStreet.com. "Working with Pluck, we've added staff blogs and user commenting capabilities, fostering a stronger, more personal dialogue between our readers and editors, while contributing to increased loyalty and traffic to the site."

The Pluck SiteLife social media suite includes SiteLife Reactions, a user interaction service; and SiteLife Blogs, an open community blogging solution.

The SiteLife platform optionally unifies a user's site interactions into a dynamically updated user Persona page, providing a sense of personal presence and a strong connection to the publisher's brand. SiteLife also provides the editorial and community management tools online publishers need to produce site experiences that are consistent with their editorial strategies.

Availability

The Pluck SiteLife suite is currently available. The service on TheStreet.com is currently available for paid subscribers only, but examples of TheStreet.com's SiteLife experience on are available at www.pluck.com/TheStreet.
